I was surprised to find out that we will be getting Aric (Jin Jin) at the orphanage today!!
After talking with other CQ families we thought it was standard to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau, but Michael says that we will go there today.
That is different than I was thinking.

We are meeting in the hotel lobby at 9:00 to leave for pick up and he said that it would take 40 minutes to an hour because of traffic. Oh yeah - traffic laws and driving is so very different. I try just to close my eyes. Alex is enjoying his freedom out of his car seat. Lots of Audi's, VW's here.

Can't wait to see pictures of your sweet family finally together! We were just in Chongqing in July to pick up Chloe Grace and enjoyed being there. You will love, love, LOVE Michael. We found him to be extremely kind and helpful.

Joy - so great to read your posts and that you arrived safely and flights were good, I know you were nervous about the flights..can't wait to hear how your initial meeting with Aric went..hope to meet him someday too. Stay safe -shop a lot and enjoy every moment.

Just saw on Ashley's FB page that she met Aric! Technology is great! The boys' room looks wonderful...a warm welcome home for both! I can't wait to hear all the details! Safe travels and I am praying daily for you all!
